3	Engë néya vinimo ettanië mica i Celvar i tauressë.	         	There was once a baby show among the Animals in the forest.
	Manwë sornë i artanwa.	    	Jupiter provided the prize.
	Aþahanyë ilyë valatië amilyer o palan ar areä tulyaner vinimolta.	          	Of course all the proud mammas from far and near brought their babies.
	Mal alquen ananyë tanna nó Amil Maimun.	       	But none got there earlier than Mother Monkey.
	Valateávë apantanes vinimorya mica i hyanë turutyalmeo tartailar.	        	Proudly she presented her baby among the other contestants.
4	Ve ecë lyen intya, engë höa lalië yá i Celvar cennë i úvanima, ú-finda, nípa veo ó palwa nengwë ar rasilat hendu.	                         	As you can imagine, there was quite a laugh when the Animals saw the ugly flat-nosed, hairless, pop-eyed little creature.
5	“Á lala qui merildë,” equë Amil Maimun. “Anahtai Manwë nai úva anta sen i artanwa, savin i nás i arvanima, ariraina, arimelda maina Ambaressë.”	                             	"Laugh if you will," said the Mother Monkey. "Though Jupiter may not give him the prize, I know that he is the prettiest, the sweetest, the dearest darling in the world."
