1 I neldeä auressë engë veryanwë Cánassë Alileo, ar Yésuo amil nánë tassë.               On the third day [there] was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and Jesus’ mother was there.
2 Yú Yésus ar hildoryar náner nahamnë i veryanwenna.          Also Jesus and his disciples were invited [or “summoned”] to the wedding.

7 Equë téna Yésus: “Quata i calpar nennen!” Ar quanteltet penquantë.             Jesus said to them: “Fill the water-vessels with water!” And they filled them brim full.
8 Ar eques téna: “Á calpa sallo ar ása mapa i merenturenna!” Sië nampeltes.                And he said to them: “Draw [some] from it and take it to the leader of the feast!” So they took it.

Elyë asátië i mára limpë tenna sí.”                                and said to him: “Every other man first puts forth the good wine, and when people are drunk, the inferior. You have put aside the good wine until now.”
11 Yésus carnë si Cánassë Alileo ve i yesta tanwaryaron ar apantanë alcarerya, ar hildoryar sáver sessë.                   Jesus did this in Cana of Galilee as the beginning of his signs and revealed his glory, and his disciples believed in him.

13 Epeta issë ar amillerya ar hánoryar ar hildoryar ununter Capernaumenna, mal ualtë lemnë tassë ter rimbë réli.                    Thereafter he and his mother and his disciples went down to Capernaum, but he did not remain there for [ter “through”] many days.
14 Sí Yúraron Lahtië harë né, ar Yésus lendë ama Yerúsalemenna.             Now [the] Jews’ Passover was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
15 Ar hirnes i cordassë i vancer mondor ar mámar ar cucuar ar i quaptari hammaltassen.                 And he found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves and the money-changers on their seats.
16 Apa carië ripil rappalíva, hanteset illi ettenna as i mámar ar mondor; et-ulyanes i tyelpemittar i quaptariva ar nuquernë i sarnor.             ;           After making a whip of some ropes, he threw them all out together with the sheep and oxen; he poured out the coins [tyelpemittar “silver pieces”] of the money-changers and overturned the tables.

Áva carë i cöa Atarinyava cöa mancaleo!”                    And to those who sold doves he said: “Take these things away from here! Do not make the house of my Father a house of commerce!”
18 Hildoryar enyalder i ná técina: “I uryala felmë cöalyan ammatuva ni.”               The disciples recalled that [it] is written: “The burning feeling for your house will devour me .”
19 Tá i Yúrar quenter senna: “Mana i tanwa ya tanuval men, pan caril nati sinë?”                  Then the Jews said to him: “What is the sign that you will show us, since you do these things?”
20 Yésus hanquentë ar equë: “Nancara corda sina, ar mi rí neldë enortauvanyes.”                 Jesus answered and said: “Destroy [nancara, “undo”] this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
21 Etta i Yúrar quenter: “Corda sina nánë carastana ter löar enquë canaqueän, ar elyë enortauva sá mi rí neldë?”                      Therefore the Jews said: “This temple was built over [ter “through] forty-six years, and you will raise it up in three days?”
22 Mal issë carampë pa i corda hröaryava.         But he talked about the temple of his body.
23 Sië, apa anes ortana et qualinallon, hildoryar enyalder i quentes si, ar sáveltë ya i Tehtelë quetë ar i quetta ya Yésus quentë.                            Thus, after he was raised from [the] dead, his disciples recalled that he said this, and they believed what the Scripture says and the word that Jesus spoke.
24 Mal írë enges Yerúsalemessë i Lahtiëssë, i aşaressë, rimbali sáver esseryassë, pan cenneltë i tanwar yar carnes.                      But when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover, at the festival, numerous ones believed in his name, since they saw the signs that he did.
25 Ono Yésus immo ua pantanë endarya tiën, pan sinteset illi, ar pan uas sámë maurë in aiquen vettuva pa atan, an issë sintë ya engë i atandë.                                But Jesus himself did not open his heart to them, for he knew them all, and because he did not have [any] need that anyone was to witness about a man, for he knew what was in the man.
