This is a translation of the song "Zeven dagen lang" (For seven days), better known as "Wat zullen we drinken" (What shall we drink), originally by Dutch band "Bots", as covered and extended by "Rapalje"; The original melody is from the song "Son an chistr" (Breton, 1920s).
See @L {https} . This text sample includes the Dutch lyrics, and a literal translation of that into English, with divergent Quenya wording noted as "[Q: ...]".
The song is call-and-response, so lines 1+2 are sung, then repeated, then 3+4 are sung, then repeated. The exception is the 6th verse, where the first response is different, and the second response is actually by the first voice (no change-over).
In the 6th verse, if the lover is male instead of female, change meldenya to meldonya. Also in the 6th, to tone it down, you can substitute "tyale" for "puhta" (really need a Q word to fall somewhere in the middle of that spectrum).
